The Center of Excellence based in our European Logistics Cross Dock in Klundert, The Netherlands are currently looking for a:
Project Coordinator Logistics- ESSA
The Project Coordinator Logistics guides the regional and country teams through the strategic logistics process to determine the optimum solution for internal customer needs based on market capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Leading projects within the Europe and Sahara Africa region
- Serving as the main point of contact with the Product Service Lines/ Supply Chain organization
- Structurally improving Logistic processes in order to ensure operational excellence
- Business Control Audits
- Coordinating mobilization and demobilization projects for specific countries, customers or product lines
- Service Level Agreement owner
- Data reporting (KPI’s, Scorecards) for regional and/or area operations
- TapRoot© Analysis
- Trouble shooting of operational issues on Logistics movements
- Logistics tender support for business development
- Executing RFP, RFI, RFQ’s for logistics service providers
- Planning of logistics strategies (distribution hubs, inter-modal, routes, lanes) for new geographical areas.
- Kaizen Events
- New Country Start-ups
Competências e experiências desejadas
- Completion of a graduate degree at University level related to logistics, project management or supply chain management
- Previous experience in the logistics industry, with an understanding of warehousing, planning and distribution being advantages
- Fluent in English, written and verbal. Preferable 1 additional language (French or Portuguese)
- Project Management experience and Lean/Sig Sigma is a preference
- Pro-active personality and leadership skills
- Strong communication skills and able to communicate on both management and operational level
- No 9 to 5 mentality and stress resistance
- Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Negotiation skills
- IATA & IMDG Dangerous Goods Certification
- DG road freight training (ADR) or equivalent
