SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Portuguesespeaking Finance Manager to work for a division of a rapidly expanding company within the Leisure Industry. This Finance Manager position is based in Gibraltar, reporting to the Finance Director, but will also involve 50% travelling to the company’s other main location within the Mid Atlantic . The Finance Manager will be fluent or native in Portuguese and ideally a qualified accountant or in the closing stages of qualification. It would be ideal if the Finance Manager had worked within the hotel or property industry. Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Assisting and working in a close relationship with the Finance Director based in Gibraltar
- Preparation of the Financial Accounts for the Mid Atlantic entity to IFRS UK standards
- Assist with Group accounting and consolidations of the business entity
- Assist with reporting on the business activities for Senior Directors
- Preparation of Budgets and Forecasting to facilitate the growth of the business
- Work with local third parties including Auditors and local Authorities in the Mid Atlantic
Finance Manager profile:
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or in closing stages of examinations
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting environment
- Native or fluent Portuguese
- Knowledge of Group Structures/Group Accounting
- Flexibility for regular travel
- Advanced Excel skills to pivot table and Vlookup level
- Knowledge of Sage accounting system ideally Sage 200 or Line 100
- A “can do” attitude in the work place and a motivating approach to Team development
