M-Brain is a leading competitive intelligence company with offices in seven European countries. We monitor and analyse traditional print and online media and also supply business information to senior executives in over 600 global companies.
The UK division is located in Reading and we are now looking for a media analyst with excellent Portuguese, preferably Spanish as well, to support our current awareness service Esmerk.
As a member of the Latin American team, you will be working mainly on Brazil, reading online newspapers and other publications, selecting relevant business news articles and then writing summaries in English.
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, which requires a very good working knowledge of Portuguese/Spanish. You must also have first class written English.
Basic knowledge of finance, business and economics would also be helpful, although full training is given.
Candidates who meet the criteria will be asked to complete one or two test summaries as part of the selection procedure.
Normal working hours are 7.30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
Our offices are based in central Reading with good access to the main rail station.
