Assists the Senior Trading Manager in the efficient management of sales trading orders to geographical area of responsibility (AMERICAS) involving group companies and third parties, in particular in:
- Sourcing of cargo
- Fixing transportation
- Fixing the price
- Overseeing the shipping operation
Assists the Senior Trading Manager in the administration of the trading orders:
- assuring that effective controls exist to maintain the process integrity;
- controlling, measuring and reporting; and,
- complying with policies and regulations
Supports in building and maintaining good business relationship with Suppliers and Buyers
- Regularly calling and meeting customers to understand their market developments
- Following up with suggestions and solutions to meet their needs and requirements
- By being sensitive to the information that affects demand/supply in the region
- Understanding the complexity of the customer’s market
- Understanding perfectly well the products we are trading with
Support in the management of the shipping operations by
- Ensuring the vessel arrives at load port within given laycan and arrive to Buyer within their preferred arrival window.
- Coordinate with all concern parties to ensure vessel smooth loading/unloading operation
Efficient management of NWC
- Prior to the invoice due date, reminding Buyer to pay on time to avoid overdue and affected our NWC
- In case Buyer have any problem in paying our invoice/debit note, inform finance department for their further proper action
- Ensuring the LC meets the requirements

- University Degree
- Management Skills
Team player and great communicator (excellent presentation skills). Able to communicate at different organizational levels.
- Negotiation skills
- Well organized
- Able to travel to area of influence
Language skills:
- English
- Other Language in area of influence (Spanish and/or Portuguese)
- Business experience, preferably in the shipping, trading, import/export, or logistics.
- International experience is a plus
